Dallas Market Center is seeking a Leasing Manager for our Apparel & Accessories team. Your responsibilities will be to effectively source leasing prospects and build/maintain positive relationships with current tenants to achieve sales/leasing goals.
Position Description:
- Update and maintain prospect and current client information in CRM (SalesForce)
- Align with Operations, Exhibitor Services, and Lease Administration on all issues and activities related to leasing assigned industry(ies) at the DMC
- Organize, develop and maintain strategic prospecting initiatives to achieve budgeted goals
- Build and maintain solid cross-departmental working relationships
- Assist in selling exhibit space and achieve revenue and net income goals for assigned product categories
- Source new prospective business through cold-calling and visiting competitive shows
- Represent DMC to the industry in a professional, confident manner
- Attend competitive trade shows to target prospects
- Identify new trends, and create opportunities for growth; provide input on sales support and help identify softening segments where revenue may be at risk
- Assist with special projects and assignments as identified by VP Apparel
- Manage tracking of Lease Renewal during Market
- Provide consistent and timely reporting on projects and deadlines
- Manage weekly meeting agenda and presentation of reports
- Other related duties as assigned
- Salary plus commission
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
Required Experience:
- 2-4 years of previous sales experience; leasing and/or industry experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment – Ability to sit for vast majority of work shift
- Market environment – Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time during markets
- Must be available to travel as needed
